The values to which we refer, rather than being divisive or an effort to micro manage others, are an attempt to appeal to similarly-inclined individuals with whom we have a reasonable chance to share housing successfully. These values protect the built environment for which we are directly responsible, and the housemates living within it. The document we offer has been formulated over the two or more decades we have spent sharing our homes. It reflects highlights of what have historically been relevant issues. Choices have to be made by everyone, and myriad factors require constant consideration.
The document is a good starting point to gain insight into what kind of a house share you are proposing to step into and a mindset framework, both with current present as well as future potential turnover.
